Introduction

Social media and self-esteem have become intertwined in our society. Social media has given teens the instant ability to connect with others; however, teens must also contend with pressure to look and act in certain ways. In this writing prompt, students will share their thoughts on the question: “Has social media created a more insecure youth?” as well as provide relevant and sufficient evidence to back their reasoning.
